Dear Patrick,   I love you for your perseverance. I love you for keeping it together. You had no safety nor love for a large portion of your childhood. You were abused sexually, emotionally, physically, with no one to love or comfort you. You were made to believe that you could avoid the abuse my meeting impossible standards, every move, every gesture every itch could trigger abuse. Under this immense pressure you didn’t break, instead a diamond was formed, strong, beautiful, unbreakable. It was buried between the dirt of misplaced shame, guilt, taboo, misconception. But ever more this diamond is cleansing itself, glowing, shining, and is arising from the rubble of your past. Your ideas, your goals and your missions are so much larger then could be expected. If you let the shit of your past be the fertilizer of your future, your ideals will be met, and there is no limit to your capability. The world is a better place with you in it, be the love you missed, live a legacy. I love you!
