Dear Survivor,

You inspire me. Every ounce of you. Every bit of strength, love, beauty, and perfection that you are.

Not feeling any of those things? That’s okay. It’s okay to hurt. It’s okay to be scared. It’s okay to want to scream until there’s no air left in your lungs, to run until you collapse. It’s okay to feel weary, you bear a heavy load that no one deserves to carry. It’s okay to feel what you feel. There’s no one way to heal.

But please don’t let that pain take over you. Please don’t feel alone. Please don’t feel weak. Please know that none of this was your fault, no matter what someone might tell you. Please know that I love you, I believe you, and that I wish I could take this pain away from you. Please know that are not what happened to you. Also know that we understand that it still happens, and that it’s important to deal with and talk about. Please seek help if you need or want it.

I hope that one day you can feel safe, and have a life full to the brim with live from yourself and others. I hope that you don’t struggle alone. I hope that this world treats you like the heroine you are. I hope that together you and I can make this world a place where no one else will have to endure the battle you’re so valiantly fighting and WINNING. I’m so proud of you.

 Love Always,
