SurvivorLoveLetter Dearest Survivor, First, just hear me: You are not what happened to you. It is not your definition. It will always be apart of your life, but it will never define you. You are are alive. You are beautiful. You are courageous. You are a deserving and worthy human being. Staring evil in the face and surviving, it’s no easy task. You can’t just act as if the destruction never occurred; it can’t be ignored. The weight of the evilness, the anger, the crime is heavy and it becomes consuming, but continuing to get up every time you stumble it adds strength to your spirit and gives you more power behind your fight.

You are are alive. You are beautiful. You are courageous. You are a deserving and worthy human being.

Staring evil in the face and surviving, it’s no easy task. You can’t just act as if the destruction never occurred; it can’t be ignored.
